Three Delicious Subs To Satisfy Your Fall Cravings

PUmpkins orange and white

October is here and as colder temperatures push our appetites towards comfort food, we have hand picked three subs that will keep you warm in these cooler months. Just a reminder that all of our bread is baked fresh daily and we hand create each any every sub from fresh ingredients.

  1. Uncle Bert

Made from fresh roast beef, portabellas, mozzarella cheese, grilled onion and topped with garlic mojo and mayo, the Uncle Bert is one of our most filling warm subs. This is the perfect cold weather dinner sub!

So what is garlic mojo? Mojo is a Cuban based sauce typically made with garlic, olive oil, and a citrus juice. It adds a tangy bite and we make our garlic mojo with butter and garlic for a rich flavor.  We spread it on the bread then toast the bread so it melts into the bread. Yum!

  1. Meatball Sub / Tempeh Marina

It’s hard to beat a classic meatball sub. Much less one hand crafted on fresh bread. Our meatball sub is made with fresh meatballs, marinara, parmesan, and mozzarella. Take a look at this Instagram post featuring the meatball sub.

For the vegetarians and/or vegans reading, the meatballs can be subbed out for tempeh which makes for a delicious fall lunch.

  1. Little Havana

Inspired by the hispanic cultural neighborhood sharing the same name in Miami, the Little Havana is a great fall sandwich. Made with roast pork, ham, mojo, swiss, mustard, and pickles, we fit as much flavor into this one as possible! Try it with a cup of soup and a cold beer to mix things up.

If you are not hungry enough for a full sub, you’re in luck! Denver’s favorite mushroom soup has just returned to the menu! Try it on its own or as an addition to your meal.
